Yesterday was a Swiss national day. A lot of Swiss red flags and crosses around, barbeques, fires and fireworks in every village and town.

It’s mid-summer and I did not post new photos for a looooong time although I am still shooting… Will try to improve.
Here is a pretty pink geranium flower (Pelargonium) also commonly known as storksbills. There are many, many of them here in Switzerland almost in each garden, fountain, balcony. Great flower!

Last Sunday it was very sunny and pleasant outside. So I made it to the nearest forest. It felt like spring is just around the corner… But it is still cold and could be snowing… Have to wait a bit.

When I was shooting this image in the center of Amsterdam with a long exposure a tram appeared in the frame. I thought it ruined the shot. But the final result turned out to be quite interesting.Amsterdam night scene: pub and moving tram

It was good to be back in Amsterdam. Capital city of water, canals, bikes, killer trams, coffeeshops and tolerance. I amsterdam… crazy A’dam!
